SNES games head to the 3DS Virtual Console

Nintendo used its Direct today to announce that Super Nintendo (SNES) games will be heading to the 3DS Virtual Console only the New 3DS and New 3DS XL only.

Titles like Earthbound, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart and F-Zero will be the first bunch of titles available, with Super Mario World and Earthbound available from today.

Two SNES games per week will be made available moving forward.
