SMITE turns into anime next week with new Da Ji adventure

SMITE is turning itself into an anime, adding the voice talents of Cristina Vee (Sailor Moon, Pokemon and Hunter x Hunter) to the mix.

Vee will voice character Senpai Da Ji, the protagonist of the in-game Da Ji and the Legend of the Foxes adventure. It’s a “ninja horde”-style mode stylised like an anime. According to developer Hi-Rez, players will fight waves of enemies and bosses in an attempt to save a sacred fox during the adventure itself.

“The SMITE Goddess Da Ji is very well known for her seductive and intimidating nature,” said Cristina. “Working on my first SMITE Adventure was so much fun, and I think we’ve created something that both SMITE fans and anime fans alike will really enjoy!”

Da Ji and the Legend of the Foxes will be free for all SMITE players — from 13 February on PC and 16 February on Xbox One and PS4 — with the option of purchasing an optional Senpai Bundle. Said bundle includes the Senpai Da Ji skin for Da Ji alongside several other in-game items.
