Sludge Life refused classication in Australia, but you can still buy it

Sludge Life has been refused classification in Australia, at least according to a press release sent by Devolver Digital this morning.

A search of the Australian Classification Board’s website doesn’t reveal a verdict on the title, but it matters not: Sludge Life is still available on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. As those versions are digital only, they’re not beholded to any ACB classification.

The news does mean that a Nintendo Switch version of the game will not be available for purchase within Australia.

The title seems very crude, with the press release heralding its “dedicated fart button” and “a huge baby, community basketball court, and a cat with two buttholes.”

Update: Still no ACB verdict on their website, but it appears to be coming…

If that sounds like it’s up your alley, Sludge Life is available now on Windows PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.
