Skylanders Imaginators will let you create your own Skylander

Activision and Toys for Bob today announced Skylanders Imaginators, a new entry in the popular toys to life franchise that will let players create their own Skylanders heroes.

Heading to Australia on 13 October, the UK on 14 October and followed shortly after in the USA on 16 October, the Skylanders Imaginators Starter Pack will include Master King Pen, Golden Queen and one Creation Crystal. You’ll be able to take the generic hero, pictured above, and craft an in-game Skylander that’s only limited by your creativity and imagination.

The game will also feature Skylanders Senseis, heroes who help you train your own creation. Ranging over 10 battle classes, there will be 31 Senseis at launch, comprised of 20 new characters and 11 previous heroes or villains.

The franchise will skip Wii U and 3DS this year, releasing on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC.
