Skull and Bones open beta coming 8 February

Just a week ahead of the game itself.

Skull & Bones open beta was announced by Ubisoft over the weekend, offering gameplay from 8 February.

Skull and Bones Open Beta will be available from February 8 to 11 with cross-play and cross-progression on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X [&] S as well as Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store,” Ubisoft detailed in a press release.

“Players will be able to reach the Infamy Cap of Tier 6 and earn up to 5 exclusive rewards including unique ship cosmetics, emote, weapon and Pandal Lemur pet,” the publisher continued. “Carry-over will also be available, allowing players to have a head-start when the game releases on February 16.”

Alongside the news of the open beta came details of the title’s first planned year.

“Endgame and Postlaunch plans… will chart a thrilling course for players starting from Launch and beyond,” said Ubisoft. “From meeting Legendary Pirate Lords and dominating World Events to growing an empire, the post-launch plan promises an exhilarating journey on the high seas.”

Expect Skull & Bones on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5 from 16 February.
