Skate 4 to be developed by new EA studio, Full Circle

The studio will be based in Vancouver, Canada.

Skate 4 will be developed by a new EA studio named Full Circle, overseen by a former head of Xbox Live and featuring returning Skate producers Deran Chung and Cuz Parry.

Full Circle’s head of studio is Daniel McCulloch, the Partner General Manager of Xbox Live between 2017 and 2020. He left the role to join Electronic Arts as Full Circle’s Studio GM in July of last year.

“The fans wished Skate back into existence and we want them to feel involved in the process from development to game launch and beyond,” McCulloch said as part of today’s announcement. “We’re all about having fun and making great games that people want to play with their friends. And, we’re looking for more developers to help us build compelling worlds for players to explore.”

Full Circle is currently hiring artists, engineers and designers. Despite its Vancouver, Canada headquarters, the studio is “embracing a geo-diverse team” because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’ll report back as we learn more of Full Circle and Skate 4.
