Six arrested for using Lizard Squad’s DDoS tool

Six in the UK have been arrested by the National Crime Agency for purchasing the Lizard Squad’s distrubuted denial of service (DDoS) tool, the Lizard Stresser. The six allegedly used the tool to disable websites and servers.

In a statement, the NCA said that five of the detained were between the ages of 15 to 18 years old.

Fifty further addresses are being investigated by the NCA, and more arrests may follow.

Lizard Squad claimed responsibility for a series of attacks made on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in 204.
