The Sims 4 free on PC right this very second

Players can grab The Sims 4 for free right now on PC.

The Sims 4 is the latest Origin freebie, meaning those with an Origin account can login to the service now in order to add the simulator to their library at no cost. The game’s free between now and 28 May, so hop in quick to redeem. As always, the game’s yours to keep after this promotional period.

Once you’ve got the core game, you might be interested in grabbing some expansion packs; sadly, those are going to come at a cost. A range of expansions exist, priced between $19.44 AUD and $49.99 AUD. The most recent expansion is called Get Famous; its reveal trailer is below.

The Sims 4 is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. We reviewed the PC version back in 2014.

About the author

Steve Wright

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
