SimCity becomes available for Mac at the end of August

EA yesterday confirmed that SimCity will (finally!) be available for Mac, via Origin, from 30 August.

Players who’ve already purchased SimCity on Windows PC will receive an automatic entitlement for SimCity for Mac via Origin,” EA again confirmed.

The game is also cross-platform compatible, so players will be able to interact with one another regardless on the platform they’re playing from.

The Mac version of SimCity was originally scheduled for June; as such, Mac owners will receive the game’s “Launch Park” pack as an apology.

SimCity is already available on PC and is heading Mac on 30 August. You can purchase it via Origin here.
