Silent Hill f reveal trailer sets the tone

Mark those calendars!

Konami has today released its Silent Hill f reveal trailer, giving us a look at what we should expect from the series’ first mainline title in 13 years.

“When Hinako Shimizu’s secluded town of Ebisugaoka is consumed by a sudden fog, her once-familiar home becomes a haunting nightmare,” Konami said as part of the reveal. “As the town falls silent and the fog thickens, Hinako must navigate the twisted paths of Ebisugaoka, solving complex puzzles and confronting grotesque monsters to survive.

“Immerse yourself into Hinako’s world as imagined by renowned author Ryukishi07, with entrancing soundscapes by Akira Yamaoka and beautiful visuals in a gripping tale of doubt, regret, and inescapable choices. Will Hinako embrace the beauty hidden within terror, or succumb to the madness that lies ahead?”

Original story: Silent Hill f livestream has been set for 14 March here in Australia, Konami has recently detailed.

Set to take place at 9.00 am AEDT on 14 March (or check your own timezone here), the livestream will “share the latest news” about the title.

“Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking,” added Al Yang, Silent Hill f director.

Announced back in October 2022, Silent Hill f is “a completely new story set in 1960’s Japan featuring a beautiful, yet horrifying world,” according to Konami.

“Written by Ryūkishi07, famed for Japanese visual novels dealing with murder mysteries, psychological and supernatural horror.”

We’ll report back with the latest news.

Konami’s big into a Silent Hill revitalisation of late; in October 2022, it announced Silent Hill 2 remakeSilent Hill Townfall, a new feature film called Return to Silent Hill, and a live experience called Silent Hill Ascension.
