Shotgun Cop Man announced, demo available immediately

Try before you buy.

Shotgun Cop Man was today announced by Devolver and My Friend Pedro’s DeadToast Entertainment, and a demo is available to try right this second.

“In Shotgun Cop Man you’ll take on the role of the titular lead-slingin’ lawman, descending into the underworld to raise Hell in Hell,” the pair said in a press release. “Your mission? Arrest Satan.”

A reveal trailer is below.

“This is a precision platformer where your weapons are your wings,” Devolver and DeadToast continued. “Shotgun Cop Man’s boomstick and pistol (and other devastating weapons procured on-site) aren’t just used for slaying demons, but traversing the depths of Hell as well. Your diabolical arsenal lets you jump, launch, and propel yourself through the game’s challenging, chaotic levels, dodging enemies, leaping gaps, and scaling walls.”

If regular action is proving too easy, Shotgun Cop Man will also offer up No Damage and Speedrun modes alongside user-generated levels.

Priced at the low, low price of $9.99 USD, Shotgun Cop Man is planned for release on Windows PC via Steam and Switch later in 2025. A demo is available right now on Steam (and we’ll link it when we can).
