Shadow of the Tomb Raider released its first full trailer over this weekend alongside Special Edition, Season Pass and pre-order bonus information.
“In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be,” Square said of the title in an accompanying press release.
“Shadow of the Tomb Raider will challenge Lara Croft in new and unexpected ways,” said David Anfossi, Head of Studio at Eidos Montréal. “Our team has created a diverse set of skills, combat techniques and equipment for players to master, and they’ll certainly need them if they hope to survive the deadly jungle environments and tombs.”
Camilla Luddington will return to reprise her role as Lara Croft, Square also confirmed.

Season Pass items
The Season Pass contains access to seven new adventures called Paths. Each Path contains:
- New story
- New missions
- A Challenge Tomb
- A new weapon

The first Challenge Tomb will also introduce new co-op functionality.
Season Pass owners also receive a new weapon, outfit and skill at launch.
Pre-order bonus
Those who pre-order the game’s Digital Deluxe, Croft or Ultimate Editions will release 48 hours of early access to Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 14 September.
