Save Room The Merchant, an RE4 inventory puzzle box sequel, comes later this week

Save Room The Merchant  a sequel to Save Room, itself heavily inspired by Resident Evil 4‘s inventory box quasi-puzzle — will release on Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch later this week.

Whereas the original Save Room tasked players with acquiring, combining, and using items to fix inside an inventory box, The Merchant adds just that: the ability to buy and sell items to help things fit.

“Buy, sell, and acquire crucial items required for combat missions while interacting with the Save Room’s enigmatic weapons dealer,” said publisher Ratalaika Games.

“To progress through each level, you must possess specific elite and essential battle gear.,” the publisher continued. “In order to obtain the necessary goods, meticulously arrange your arms and treasures within your inventory. Then you’ll need to engage in the process of selling your treasures to the strange merchant.”

The title is priced at $4.99 USD, and available on the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, and the Nintendo eShop.

Expect Save Room The Merchant on Xbox OnePS4, PS4, and Switch from 21 November.
