Saints Row IV confirmed for 12 September release; free DLC offered as an apology

Today, All Interactive Entertainment — the distributor of Saints Row IV in Australia — confirmed that the game will arrive on PC and Xbox 360 from 12 September, and 19 September for PS3. As an apology for the delay, pre-orders will receive the “Presidential Pack” DLC for free.

“Australian fans of Saints Row IV will obviously be disappointed with this delay,” stated Robert Kingston, Director at All Interactive Entertainment. “We have used every means at our disposal to minimise the delay, but unfortunately it just was not possible to keep the same street date as the rest of the world.”

Those who pre-order the game will be issued with a DLC code for the “Presidential Pack” as an apology… provided the pre-order is picked up within 48 hours of the game’s (delayed) release.
