RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All-Stars coming August with Kween Kong

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!

RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All-Stars will air in August and feature Australian representation via Kween Kong.

Kween Kong, the runner-up of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 2, will be competing against Alyssa Edwards (USA), Pythia (Canada), Kitty Scott-Claws (UK), Athena Likis (Belgium), Eva Le Queen (Philippines), Gala Varo (Mexico), Miranda Lebrao (Brazil), Nehellenia (Italy), Soa de Muse (France), Tessa Testicle (Germany), and Vanity Vain (Sweden).

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the theme of the first worldwide All-Stars season will be “Olympics of Drag”. Timely, too, with this year’s upcoming actual Olympics.

Queens will be competing for $200,000 USD alongside a spot in the coveted Drag Race Hall of Fame.

“The world is not ready for RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars,” said RuPaul herself. “Twelve queens representing their home countries raises the stakes to a whole new level. Plus, the international mix of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent will, pardon my French, blow your f***ing minds.”

As per usual, you can access RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All-Stars via Stan here in Australia, and Paramount+ elsewhere in the world. Expect the series to begin streaming from 16 August.
