Will a new Crash Bandicoot game be announced at The Game Awards?

Crash Bandicoot fans believe that a new title in the franchise will be revealed this week, likely during The Game Awards.

YouTuber Canadian Guy Eh has noted that several large-scale influencers have started to receive new Crash figurines (with Santa hats, awww), mirroring a Christmas-themed Crash mailout that took place last year ahead of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.

Or, you know, it could just be Activision making use of Crash for Christmas. Time will tell; we’ll of course keep you posted.

Rumours of a new Crash game called Crash Bandicoot Worlds are swirling thanks to a new mask spotted in a video alongside a new Crash design seen on UK buses.

The Game Awards will be livestreamed from Los Angeles, California from 12.30pm AEDT on 13 December. You can check out a full list on nominees here. Stevivor is a member of the voting jury.
