Wii U: Production rumoured to end this week

Eurogamer today reports that Nintendo will end Wii U production this week.

The site says Nintendo’s Japanese-based production line will be shut down after final orders have been processed. That date is set for this Friday.

Nintendo has yet to comment on the rumour.

Meanwhile, the publisher is keeping quiet about the newly announced Nintendo Switch; more details will be revealed next year.
