Suicide Squad delayed further into 2023 after lacklustre showing

Kill the Justice League... after some more work has been done.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League has been delayed further into 2023 following a lacklustre showing during a recent PlayStation State of Play.

News of the delay comes from Bloomberg, which cites “a person with direct knowledge of the matter”.

Last month’s State of Play featured minutes of new gameplay from the title, though fans were disappointed by what was on show. A bunch of live service elements, including gear chasing, featured; so too did a need for every character, including the Hulk-like King Shark, to use stat-laden guns.

The gameplay reveal came at the same time fans realised that Suicide Squad needs a persistent online connection to play.

If the delay is indeed happening, it’ll push Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League from its expected release date of May. We’ll report back when the delay is confirmed (or if this report proves to be unfounded).

Expect Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.
