Splinter Cell anime series in production at Netflix: report

Splinter Cell anime series is in production at Netflix, Variety today reports.

John Wick writer Derek Kolstad is attached to the project according to Variety, which reports that Kolstad will serve as a writer an Executive Producer on the series. It’s additonally reported that Splinter Cell has already received a two season, sixteen episode order.

Ubisoft is no stranger to TV and film, with Assassin’s Creed and Prince of Persia receiving film treatments and Mythic Quest currently airing on Apple TV.

Despite the good news that Sam Fisher will return to our screens, we’re certain fans would prefer a game over a TV show. What do you make of the news?
