Robert Pattinson tests positive for COVID-19, Batman production halted

The Batman actor Robert Pattinson has tested positive for COVID-19, halting production of the film in the process, Vanity Fair today reports.

“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols,” a Warner Bros representative said in a statement earlier today. “Filming is temporarily paused.”

The outlet has cited “a highly placed source” who claims that Pattinson is indeed the cast member afflicted, adding that Pattinson’s representation didn’t return a request for comment.

The Batman was recently shown off at the DC FanDome livestream event. The film is currently slated for a 2021 release.
