Goofy’s voice actor wrongly insists that Kingdom Hearts III is coming out in 2015

Goofy’s voice actor, Bill Farmer, took the internet for a spin last night when he insisted that Kingdom Hearts III was heading to store shelves in 2015.

Farmer took to Twitter to declare that he’d finished his part of Square Enix’s upcoming epic, and asserted the game would be available for purchase by the end of the year.

Fans on Twitter didn’t quite believe him and wondered if Farmer was perhaps confusing Kingdom Hearts III for Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. Farmer again insisted he was talking about KH III.

In the end, Square Enix had to jump on Twitter to perform some damage control. Rather cleverly, too.
