Report: Borderlands: The Pre-sequel! to take place between Borderlands, Borderlands 2

GamePointsNow reports that the next Borderlands game will be a prequel that takes place on the moon.

Yep, you read that right.

The game is allegedly called Borderlands: The Pre-sequel! and is planned for Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC.

The rumour mill says the game is currently in development by 2K Australia and will take place in the five year gap that separates Borderlands and Borderlands 2.

We’ll let you know when we hear more of the game.
