Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release confirmed by LinkedIn profile

A Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release was recently confirmed by a (now deleted) LinkedIn profile.

The news, broken by TGFG and later confirmed by VG24/7, is a bit strange — neither source decided to name the developer attached to the LinkedIn profile.

A screenshot of the profile, with white boxes photoshopped in to protect said developer, is below. It details a programmer from Rockstar Leeds who says that Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature on “PS4/XBox1/PC.”

Rockstar has yet to confirm the title for PC, though Xbox One and PS4 releases have been confirmed for October of this year. We’ll keep you posted on PC information.

Red Dead Redemption 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 26 October.

About the author

Steve Wright

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
