Quantum Break 2 is allegedly in pre-production

Quantum Break 2 is allegedly in pre-production at Remedy Games, a new claim suggests.

Iranian Audio Director and Sound Engineer Hamidreza Nikoofar has taken to Twitter to make the claim.

“I know by fact that [Remedy Games] is working on Quantum Break 2,” he first wrote.

P7 is not Quantum Break 2,” he later clarified in another tweet. “Quantum Break 2 is in pre-production.”

Nikoofar didn’t detail how he possesses this knowledge, but he does have industry experience. He’s the creative behind Gameology, a podcast that’s hosted conversations with the likes of Titanfall‘s Erik Kraber, Assassin’s Creed Creator Patrice Désilets and BioShock Creator Ken Levine.

We’ve contacted Remedy Games for a statement and we’ll keep you informed as more is known.

Quantum Break is currently available on Windows PC and Xbox One. It’s likely that Remedy will showcase its upcoming title, codenamed P7, at E3 2018.
