Pokémon Stars: New merch teases (or trolls) Switch release

New Japanese Pokémon merchandise may be teasing, or trolling, the oft-rumoured Pokémon Stars on Switch.

Then again, it might just be merch.

Eurogamer’s Tom Phillips first discovered the new merch, fueling speculation with a skeptical emoji placed at the beginning of his tweet.

What do you think, gamers? Astrologically-themed merch, or hints at Pokémon Stars itself? Rumours of a Switch title that would compliment the 3DS’ Pokémon Sun and Moon go as far back as November last year.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more. In the meantime, you can check out the “Look Upon the Stars” collection here.

Pokémon Sun and Moon is currently available on Nintendo 3DS.
