Pokémon Go: Reports say an Articuno has been caught in the USA

Posts on Facebook and Reddit are claiming that Pokémon Go‘s first Legendary Pokémon, Articuno, has been caught in Ohio, USA.

Both sites originate with the same, unconfirmed report, but the news has nonetheless excited gamers around the world. Other users have taken to YouTube to show that it’s relatively easy to spoof fake Pokémon.

Data miners have confirmed the existence of a number of (previously) undiscovered Pokémon, including Mew, Mewtwo and more.

We’ll follow up on this story as it becomes available.
