Mafia Trilogy to sport remasters of Mafia 1 & 2 for August release

Ahead of a full Mafia Trilogy reveal next week, leaked listings suggest that both Mafia and Mafia 2 will be remastered and the entire package will be available in August.

Microsoft Store listings for both Mafia and Mafia 2 suggest the titles will be offered as Definitive Editions, and each listing displayed in-game screenshots at far higher fidelities than previously offered when the games were first released in 2002 and 2010, respectively. We’ve got those screenshots above and below.

Interestingly enough, the listings suggest a staggered release date for the titles — 27 August and 28 August, respectively. 2K and developer Hangar 13 have promised more about Mafia Trilogy on 20 May, so it’s likely we’ll have those release dates confirmed shortly.

Mafia Trilogy was teased overnight; you can watch the teaser trailer here.
