Is Atlus teasing a Catherine sequel?

Atlus has used a recent livestream to tease a potential sequel to Catherine.

Catherine is a puzzle-platformer that first appeared on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011 (or 2012, depending on the region). It’s reached a cult status because of its macabre themes.

Atlus’s recent livestream was Catherine-themed, reports PersonaCentral, and went as far to suggest a sequel is in the works.

At the end of the livestream, its host — Catherine host Trisha — says we should expect her soon for her “next job”. Catherine fans are hopeful that means a second game.

We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
