Guitar Hero might be headed back to consoles

Hot on the heels of a rumour that stated Rock Band will be headed back to consoles, word on the street is that Activision’s Guitar Hero is doing the same thing.

Kotaku UK has filed the report, citing two unnamed sources. According to the site, Activision will confirm the franchise’s return at this year’s E3.

Plans allegedly include releases on PS4 and Xbox One alongside new sets of plastic peripherals.

Guitar Hero was put on hold back in 2011.
