Fortnite Party Royale is weaponless and all about relaxing

Fortnite Party Royale is a new mode that will ditch weapons and serve as a stress-free social space for players, new leaks have suggested.

The leak comes in the form of an email sent by developer Epic to a number of Fortnite influencers, inviting them to test an “experimental and evolving space”. Since then, dataminers including Lucas7Yoshi and ShiinaBR have uncovered a limited-time space that allows players to “hang out with friends, play games, perfect your skydive and more.”

Further datamines have uncovered the island of Papaya (above), the setting for the new social space. As you can see, the map has icons depicting flying, gliding, soccer and more.

This new social space isn’t exactly new to Fortnite; just recently, the game served as a premiere for a new Travis Scott track, and we’ve also had Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker trailer debut in-game.

We’ll let you know more of Fortnite‘s Party Royale as information is made available. The title is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices.
