Final Fantasy 7 Remake pre-load coming 5 days earlier

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake pre-load has been bumped ahead by five full days, new reports suggest.

Those on Reddit and Resetera are reporting the pre-load date has been moved to 2 April, ahead from 7 April, ahead of the game’s 10 April release.

The news comes as Australians report that physical copies of Final Fantasy 7 Remake are being distributed as early as today, though in the face of the coronavirus, we’d encourage our readers exercise patience and try to obtain a copy of the game through delivery rather than queuing up at a local brick and mortar store.

If that plea doesn’t reach you, please ensure to exercise proper social distancing when visiting a store.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is officially scheduled for 10 April, though Square Enix has asked those in Australia and Europe to keep spoilers off social media ahead of a likely early release.
