EB Games’ next-gen pre-orders online only, require $200 deposit

EB Games’ next-gen pre-orders for the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5 and PS5 All-Digital consoles will be online only and will require a $200 AUD deposit, Press-Start today reports.

The site doesn’t specify how it’s come across the information, but also reports that pre-orders will be limited to one console per customer. It’s unclear when pre-orders will be accepted by the retailer at present.

Microsoft confirmed the Xbox Series S console just yesterday alongside a price of $299 USD. Local Aussie pricing hasn’t been detailed as yet, but we’ll of course keep you posted. We’ll also report back when EB Games — and other local retailers — cement pre-order systems.
