Deus Ex takes a backseat as Eidos Montreal focuses on Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy

Reports from Kotaku and Eurogamer suggest Eidos Montreal will shelve the Deus Ex franchise to work on Marvel properties instead.

The reports come as Square Enix and Marvel have recently confirmed Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics are working on an unnamed Avengers title.

Reports suggest Eidos Montreal is also potentially working on an unconfirmed Guardians of the Galaxy game, separate from the one announced by Telltale Games.

We’ll keep you up to date as we learn more.

Eidos Montreal’s latest, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
