Destiny 2’s next expansion is Gods of Mars, due March 2018

A now-deleted PlayStation Store page has seemingly outed Destiny 2‘s second expansion.

The expansion, allegedly titled “Gods of Mars” was briefly posted to Sony’s store earlier in the week. Reddit user GodsOfMarsLeak grabbed screenshots before the page was removed.

Destiny 2 Expansion II: Gods of Mars sends your Guardian on a long journey to a brand new destination – the Frigid Vale of Mars, with an array of new missions, adventures, and enemies to fight,” the page’s description read.

“Charlemagne has reawoken on Mars and has imprisoned Rasputin within an ancient vault. Work with the elusive Ana Bray – long thought to be dead, in order to combat Charlemagne’s Remnants, free Rasputin, and uncover the secrets of Clovis Bray.”

Moreover, the expansion is said to feature new story missions, adventures, weapons, armour, gear and a new enemy faction — though Redditors seem to be in agreement that the faction will simply be SIVA-riddled enemies.

The page also stated that the expansion would be available in March 2018.

What do you make of this rumoured new content? Will it be enough to bring you back to Destiny 2 in the new year?

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
