Destiny 2’s first DLC is rumoured to star Osiris, take place on Mercury

Destiny 2‘s first piece of DLC will allegedly star the Trials of Osiris’ titular Osiris and take place on Mercury.

Sources have told Kotaku that the DLC, titled “The Curse of Osiris” and scheduled for December of this year, will include a Mercury Patrol Zone and a social space on the Lighthouse. That latter location is the area that flawless Trials players could access in the original Destiny.

The sources allege that the DLC’s story will centre around saving Osiris from the clutches of the Vex.

We’ll have more on the DLC as it’s made available. Neither Activision nor Bungie have made comment on the rumours.

Destiny 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 from 6 September, and Windows PC from 24 October.
