Destiny 2: September release, PlayStation-exclusive content likely

The first set of promo art has been leaked for Bungie’s Destiny 2.

Two Italian posters have popped up overnight — from Lega Network (above) and GameStop Italy via NeoGAF (below) — with both sporting the same artwork and September release date. The posters also have the familiar PlayStation ribbon along their tops, suggesting that the title will have the same type of PlayStation-exclusive content offered in the original Destiny.

The text at the bottom of the image directly above reads (at least, in part), “Accedi alla Beta in Anticipo”, which has been translated as “Get early access to the Beta”.

Neither Activision nor Bungie has confirmed Destiny 2 launch information. We’ll report back as we learn more.

Destiny 2 is expected on Xbox One, PS4, and for the first time in the franchise, is rumoured for Windows PC. Until then, Guardians can bide their time in Age of Triumph, the last live event for the original Destiny.
