Crash Bandicoot mobile endless runner planned for release

Crash Bandicoot mobile game is rumoured for release and will take the format of an endless runner, sources allege.

Crash experts JumpButton and Motwera posted details of a listing for a spin-off mobile game from Activision Blizzard mobile studio, King — you know them from Candy Crush. Two images from the listing, shown above, show that a series of Crash characters will be able to take part in the endless runner, with players tasked to “run, jump and slide!”

“Crash is back, this time on mobile,” reads a now-removed listing on Storemaven. “Embark of a brand new adventure with your favourite characters and put a stop to Dr Neo Cortex’s evil plan to destroy the multiverse!

“In this new episode, Dr Neo Cortex dispatched mutagen henchmen across the multiverse to enslave all dimensions. With the help of his spirited sister Coco, Crash must strike and bash Cortex’s minions back to their own worlds!”

The game will also task you to “build up a base of operations” as part of play.

We’ll have more on the Crash Bandicoot mobile endless runner as it’s made available.
