Call of Duty Black Ops IIII likely to be Treyarch’s next game

Treyarch seems to be throwing caution — and roman numbering — to the wind with Call of Duty Black Ops IIII.

We’ll be referring to the rumoured title as Call of Duty Black Ops 4 from now on as the made-up roman numeral over there is pinging our OCD something FIERCE.

The rumour mill kicked into full gear when a video of Houston Rockets star James Harden with a rather peculiar Call of Duty hat appeared on Twitter.

Sources have confirmed with Kotaku that’s indeed the Call of Duty: Black Ops III logo extended by 1 to make 4 — but rather than “IV” the number’s been stylised as “IIII”.

Yeah, we know. It’s rather weird.

Neither Treyarch nor Activision have commented on the existence of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4though we’re sure to hear more soon either way.

What do you think of the logo?
