Borderlands 3 reveal likely to happen at PAX East

A new tweet by Gearbox Software seems to tease a Borderlands 3 reveal at PAX East.

The tweet, in full below, shows a highway sign detailing Boston, spraypainted with the words “MA” and “March 28”. The former is “Massachusetts”, the state Boston is in, and the date corresponds with PAX East and a panel Gearbox itself is holding. Finally, an exit sign at the top right of the image references exit 3, likely teasing Borderlands 3. The cel-shaded style of Borderlands itself features in the image, so it’s causing a lot of people to connect the dots accordingly.

Gearbox’s event has promised “never-before-seen reveals” of which Borderlands 3 would certainly qualify, eh? While this is fast becoming the company’s worst-kept secret, neither Gearbox nor publisher 2K have made any official confirmation of the game. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Are you excited about the possibility of Borderlands 3?
