Assassin’s Creed Valhalla release date in October, Amazon suggests

A now-removed Amazon Italy listing suggests that the current-gen Assassin’s Creed Valhalla release date is set for October.

The listing, which has since been amended to detail a 31 December release date, originally appeared with a date of 15 October 2020. Redditor AssassinsCrypt managed to take a screenshot of the entry in its original form, below.

If we had to guess, we’d say that Valhalla will debut for Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia (where available) in October and will later become available on both Xbox Series X and PS5 at launch. We’d also expect both next-gen consoles to be available sometime in November, but again — pure speculation there. Time will tell soon enough.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is planned for a holiday 2020 release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia where available. Check out our deep dive on what developer Ubisoft Montreal has shared about the game here.
