A range of Assassin’s Creed merchandise has seemingly outed the name of the next game alongside its protagonist and the time period it takes place.
The merch, provided to WWG by “reliable sources connected with Ubisoft” backs up reports that the publisher’s next game will be titled Assassin’s Creed: Origins.
It also seems to confirm the game’s setting in Egypt.
Moreover, the merch features a male protagonist by the name of Bayek and references -49 BCE.
Ubisoft plans to detail the next Assassin’s Creed title at E3 in mid-June. We’ll have more on the game as it becomes available.
