Assassin’s Creed: Empire allegedly heading to consoles, PC in 2017

Following the lead of an anonymous source on 4chan (as compiled by NeoGAF), Kotaku today reports that their own sources have confirmed the existence of Assassin’s Creed: Empire.

The title has allegedly been delayed from release this year after the disappointment brought on by Assassin’s Creed: Unity in 2014.

All sources agree that Empire will take place in ancient Egypt, with the source from 4chan adding that Ubisoft may make a trilogy out of Empire, with the same character heading to Greece in the next installment.

We’ll have more on the existence of Empire as it becomes available.
