Apex Legends has a free and paid Battle Pass

Apex Legends will have both a free and paid Battle Pass, a report from a dataminer suggests.

Dataminer PlayApexLIntel says that the game’s code references both a free and “Diamond” tier Battle Pass, likely suggesting the latter will be paid content.

Another datamine by the same miner suggests that the game will soon offer a mode called Recruit, in which three teams of twenty will battle each other. If a player is downed, anyone can revive him or her — the catch though is that the revived player joins the team of its saviour. Sounds neat, eh?

Neither EA nor Respawn have made comment on these reports; we’ll keep you informed as more is known.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale set in the world of Titanfall. It’s available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
