Analyst believes Nintendo will show off the NX concept ahead of E3

Barron’s Asia today reports that Nomura Securities analyst Junko Yamamura believes that Nintendo will show off its NX concept sometime between March and May 2016, ahead of a full reveal at E3 in June.

“We have lowered our estimates for current consoles to reflect the present situation, fiercer competition, and what has happened in the past when new hardware is announced,” Nomura said, believing Nintendo fans will abandon the Wii U and 3DS to switch to the NX.

Nintendo, of course, hasn’t commented on the analysis.
