Rugby 22 coming January 2022 on PC, Xbox, PlayStation

Get hype.

Rugby 22 has been confirmed for a January 2022 launch, NACON and Eko Software today declared.

The title will be available across Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.

“The Paris-based development studio has used all its expertise in sports games (Handball 21, Rugby 18 and Rugby 20) and is making many improvements to this latest simulation,” NACON advised in a press release.

“This includes more realistic AI, improved difficulty that adapts better to each player’s level, and more lifelike star-player faces – especially on the latest-generation consoles – thanks to the use of photogrammetry.”

The game promises “official teams and competitions” alongside “top leagues with all the official clubs, as well as the major national teams like France, Italy, Ireland and Japan to name a few.”

Rugby 22 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 in January 2022.
