Rocket League’s latest update brings uncommon items

Psyonix’s first Rocket League update for 2016 will end Season One add uncommon item drops.

Uncommon items will be earned after online-only matches. Your chance of receiving an uncommon item increases the more matches you play. As a result of the new items, Rocket League will now feature an item quality system, with tiers as follows:

  • Common (Grey): Stock or normal items.
  • Uncommon (Light Blue): Newly implemented, as described above.
  • Premium (Green): Paid items.
  • Limited (Orange): Earned in season or via promotion (ie: Halloween-themed items)

We gave Rocket League GOTY 2015 in our Sports category.
