Rocket League visuals to improve on Switch, Xbox One X

Rocket League will improve visuals on both Nintendo Switch and Xbox One X later this year.

The Switch update will come first, raising resolution to 900p when docked or 720p in handheld mode, with both running at 60 frames-per-second (FPS). Expect this update, which will bump the game up from 720p and 576p respectively, in April.

Xbox One X support will allow for 4K support by the end of the year, developer Psyonix confirmed. An exact release date isn’t known, but is expected in late 2018.

Rocket League is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
