Rocket League Halloween event begins today

Details of the Rocket League Halloween event have been detailed by developer Psyonix.

The event is called Haunted Hallows and offers up new crates and items. An event-specific currency, Candy Corn, will also be earned by playing online. That currency can then be used to purchase new event items.

New Decryptors are used to unlock special event crates. Any reward obtained through this new item will be untradeable. Crates themselves are earned from play but can also be purchased with  Candy Corn.

Haunted Hallows runs between 16 October and 6 November.

Rocket League is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It heads to Nintendo Switch shortly.
