Rock Band 4 will be true to current-gen, running in 1080p, 60 fps

Rock Band Product Manager Eric Pope has told MCV (as reported by Videogamer) that Rock Band 4 will “be 1080p and will run at 60 FPS”.

Pope confirmed Harmonix has “built a brand new engine for Rock Band 4 to make the most of the new hardware.”

“It’s going to look ‘next-gen’ with more realistic lighting, character models, and animation,” he added.

MCV suggests an October release date for Rock Band 4 on PS4 and Xbox One.
