Rise of the Tomb Raider heads to PS4 in October

Square Enix has confirmed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will head to PS4 in October.

From 11 October, the game will come with all of its previous DLC alongside new content.

New to the game will be a new virtual reality (VR) mode, tied to a new DLC story chapter called “Blood Ties”. Also included is a second new story mode called “Lara’s Nightmare” and a co-op mode inside Endurance mode.

Moreover, another new difficulty mode heads to the game in “Extreme Survivor”, which removes checkpoints and makes the single-player campaign more like Endurance mode itself.

Those who’ve bought the Rise of the Tomb Raider “Season Pass” on Xbox One and Windows PC will get the content for free upon release.
